"Saffron Walden School - A Sketch of Two Hundred Years" by James Backhouse Crosfield.
Originally founded in 1702 in Clerkenwell, with subsequent moves to Islington Road and then to Croydon, Friends' School moved to Saffron Walden in 1879.
As part of the Bicentenary celebrations in 1902, James Backhouse Crosfield delivered this paper to all assembled in Saffron Walden Friends' Meeting House on Friday 13th June 1902.
